Wanna throw the best flapjack, boot stompin’, cowboy wranglin’ Stampede event this year? Here are our top tips:

1. Book it early.

   Stage, tent, BBQ’s, sound equipment, entertainment, and guest speakers gonna be slim pickin’ if you wait too long, so get on it!

2. Have a back-up plan.

   As we all know, weather is never a sure thing in Calgary. Don’t let a downpour ruin your yee-haw; have a back-up plan in your back jean pocket!

3. Spread the good news.

   Advertise the heck outta your party – social media, website, posters, flyers, news outlets, and anything else you can think of. People are always looking for free Stampede events during the season, so be sure to get yours on those key lists (if it’s free!).

4. Point the herd in the right direction.

   On the big day, be sure to have plenty of signage pointing people towards parking, washrooms, food line ups, etc. There’s nothing worse than having a lost herd of sheep wandering around your field trying to find the nearest outhouse!

5. Give a token of appreciation.

   This is important. Giving your guests a little something to take home with your corporate brand is going to be a long-lasting reminder of what an awesome knee-slappin’ time they had at your event. Be sure to order at least 4-6 weeks ahead of time to guarantee it’ll arrive for your guests.
